Subwoofer Simulator

Calculates how several subwoofers combine in the plane and shows the level in the room relative to the reference point (FOH). Drag subs in the top view with mouse or finger, and set delay, gain and polarity in the table.

Model: each sub is an omnidirectional point source in the free field of the plane, optionally with first-order image sources for the four walls. Floor, ceiling and the directivity of individual cabinets are not included, so cardioid setups are calculated as a gradient of two sources. The results show trends for planning, not an exact prediction like manufacturer simulation software.

About the toolbox

All calculations run locally in your browser. Nothing you enter is transmitted; run sheets and soundboard labels are stored on your device only.

The calculators provide guide values for planning and setup. Manufacturer data, on-site measurements and safety regulations always take precedence.
