Power & Phase Balancing

Enter fixtures and devices and the calculator spreads them evenly across L1, L2 and L3. It shows current per phase, phase imbalance and neutral current, recommends the CEE supply and checks the voltage drop of the feeder.

    How it works

The calculator first places all fixed assignments, then distributes the remaining devices one by one, largest first, each onto the currently least loaded phase. Current per phase is power divided by voltage times cos φ. With unequal loads a balancing current flows through the neutral, calculated from the three phase currents. The voltage drop applies to copper cables and should ideally stay below 3 % at events. Cross-section figures are common pairings: installation method, grouping, protection and the applicable standards are what count, and if in doubt the qualified electrician decides.

    About the toolbox

All calculations run locally in your browser. Nothing you enter is transmitted; run sheets and soundboard labels are stored on your device only.

The calculators provide guide values for planning and setup. Manufacturer data, on-site measurements and safety regulations always take precedence.
